Other HVAC Companies want to hire Slick Salesmen disguised as Technicians because they want every service call to be a replacement lead. Not at Link Mechanical Services. Many of our customers have been with us for 20 years or more, and we feel they deserve honest, ethical, and technically superior service. Which means we need talented technicians who can accurately diagnose and repair systems. Come help us deliver it!
Because we have the best service and installation team in the area, we make sure to make it easy to provide for their families by paying them well. Not only can our technicians make additional money by ethically suggesting and selling beneficial products to our customers, but our top techs can make over $85,000 a year in wages (plus encentives on top of that). We also provide our technicians uniforms, a vehicle to take home, as well as ongoing training to continually give them the opportunity to grow their skillset.
Even though emergency service is a part of the job, we want our people to have a life as well. Because of this, we rotate our on-call technicians so they can plan and do things with their family. For the time they are on call, they earn a daily stipend (on Holidays $125 a day) whether they run any calls or not. Our On-Call Technicians are only required to run emergency calls for our maintenance customers. Should they decide to take an emergency call from a customer that is not a maintenance plan member they get paid extra to do so.
We want our techs to have careers—not just jobs. We take pride in the fact that we have technicians who have been happy at Link Mechanical Services for over 15 years. We are also proud that the few who have left the company—didn’t do it to work for competitors.
Link Mechanical Services is a good place to work with good people to work with. We have a company that you would be proud to work for. This isn’t an accident. We take pains to make sure that we hire the best people. We drug test all of our employees, and do not tolerate shoddy work or deceptive practices. More importantly, our people are given the respect they deserve as professional tradesmen.
